Meet the Team
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Cooley has over 25 years of executive leadership experience, and has served in Senior Executive positions in both public and privately held companies in the transportation and manufacturing sectors. He was VP of Carey International (formerly listed on NASDAQ: CARY) the world’s largest limousine company, Chief Operating Officer of Empire International, and Chairman & CEO of AAG Industries. He attended Long Beach State University and is a former US Army (USAR) officer, with over 22-years of uniformed service.
Mr. Cooley, founder, has served in the areas of operations, logistics, client management and corporate branding. Devin is the program manager with key OEM’s and strategic vendors, as well as oversees content creation and marketing campaigns. He has managed teams and departments for several organizations, including program management, procurement and staffing for the City of Redmond and City of Mercer Island, WA. He is a graduate of University of Washington, with a BS in Political Science.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Bakeman has over 30 years of corporate and commercial finance experience. He has been the Chief Financial Officer for five development and early stage businesses, including four renewable/sustainable energy companies, two that were publicly traded. He earned an MBA with High Honors from the Deidman College of Business at Grand Valley State University and a BA from Michigan State University.
Jim "Rock" Valenti
VP Sales & Marketing
Mr. Valenti brings 50+ years of business and leadership experience to SunTrac. He has served as a Strategic Planning Advisor to Fortune 500 companies & DOD Supplier Partners. He received his BA & Masters in Psychology from San Francisco University. Jim retired after 26 years of active and reserve duty with the U.S. Army.
Chief Marketing Officer
Mr. Grimm has over 30 years of experience as a sales and marketing executive in both the consumer products and commercial real estate industries. He recently served as a senior executive in charge of investment syndication with a real estate investment group, and later as a LinkedIn marketing specialist. He is currently responsible for SunTrac’s cap raise, as well as its vertical market expansion.
Mr. Ashby is a seasoned HVAC industry veteran with over 30 years experience in the areas of commercial and residential A/C system sales, design, installation and repair. His responsibilities include dealer technical support, installation training programs, as well as new product R & D. He is a certified service technician and installer with Trane, Lennox, Carrier, York, and Ruud.
Mr. Siebens has a thirty-year career in designing and building both AC & DC electrical systems and controls. His career includes contract work for the US Atomic Energy Commission at Lawrence Livermore Labs in California, as well as designing and manufacturing rotating electrical equipment and engine generator sets for off-grid power & renewable energy generation and storage systems. He holds a BS degree in Mathematics & Economics from Minnesota State University and an MBA from California State University.
Mr. Lowstuter, the inventor of the patented SunTrac panel, has enjoyed a successful career in engineering and management for over 40 years. With multiple patents to his name, he has had a colorful career as an electrical engineer, a solar thermal panel designer, and a manufacturing engineer. Now, as a Six Sigma Black Belt, he has developed and implemented Lean improvements through more than 450 Lean events, with 150 companies, in a wide variety of industries. He received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Mr. Gasparac is a graduate of Purdue University, with a Bachelor of Science degree, and received an MBA from Illinois Institute of Technology and a CPA from the State of Illinois. His business experience includes consulting with Price Waterhouse, Vice President of Manufacturing and Vice President Finance & Planning for Gould Inc. and CFO for Midcon Corporation (OXY). He participated in KK&R’s first leveraged buyout and has invested in startup companies and Real Estate. He splits his time between Chicago, IL and Scottsdale, AZ.
Mr. Gianone founded Oculus Development, Inc., a Chicago-based development company that has developed or acquired more than 4,165 apartment and condominium units; 1,840,000 square feet of office space; 800,000 square feet of industrial buildings; 390,000 square feet of shopping center space and a 305-room hotel with a combined market value in excess of $1 billion. Today, as the Chairman of Oculus, he brings a wealth of experience and advice to the members of his Oculus team. He resides in Chicago, IL and Scottsdale, AZ.
Mr. Walsh is an accomplished General Counsel with a proven record of strong legal and business acumen having successfully managed complex legal and business issues for a well-known Fortune 100 company, including: M&A, Joint Ventures, Corporate Governance, and key Strategic Restructurings. He brings a strong multi-cultural background having previously lived and worked in the Asia Pacific region for five years. He received his BA in Political Science from Binghamton University and his JD from Saint Louis University School of Law.
Mr. Dendy is the Vice President of International Business at Goodman Manufacturing, managing HVAC product strategy, marketing and sales in 60 countries worldwide. Previously, Tom served as VP of Global Marketing and R&D for SPX Cooling Technologies, responsible for the Marley Cooling Towers, Balcke-Duerr and Hamon Dry Cooling businesses. He has worked closely with the US DOE and National Science Foundation on heat transfer, energy efficiency and innovation programs, overseeing the execution of a number of joint industry-DOE development and testing projects. He has also mentored start-up businesses participating in the NSF Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program. Tom earned his degree in Chemical Engineering at Tulane University and served 11 years as a Nuclear Submarine Officer, including assignment as chief engineer of a nuclear powered submarine.
